Jakarta — After undergoing surgery for a leg injury, President-elect for the 2024-2029 period, Prabowo Subianto, received an outpouring of support at the National Defense Central Hospital Panglima Besar Soedirman (RSPPN) on Monday afternoon (1/7).

A total of 25 flower arrangements were delivered to RSPPN to show support and prayers for Prabowo’s recovery.

The flower arrangements came from various government officials including Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, Maruarar Sirait, and Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

“Our prayers are with you, President-elect Mr. Prabowo Subianto. Stay strong and keep fighting,” read a note from Zulkifli Hasan, PAN Chairman.

In addition to official support, there were also messages of love and encouragement from community groups such as local mothers, football fans, and residents from Bintaro.

“Wishing you a speedy recovery, Mr. Prabowo! Love, Mom!” said a flower arrangement from the Prabowo Forever Fans group.

“Mr. Prabowo, get well soon, we are eagerly waiting for Indonesia to qualify for the World Cup,” read a message from the Football Fans Love Prabowo community.

There were also light-hearted messages from netizens, including one from the Secret Admirers of Prabowo.

“Get well soon, Mr. Prabowo, I’ll make you some fried rice,” they wrote.

“Come on, Mr. Prabowo, recover quickly, I promise not to stay up late anymore,” said a message from the Anak Prabowo Nusantara community.

A week ago, Prabowo underwent intensive treatment at RSPPN after surgery and recovery for a leg injury sustained in the 1980s during his time in the Indonesian National Armed Forces.

Now, Prabowo is back to his regular activities. This evening, Monday, he was seen attending the 78th Bhayangkara Day celebration at the National Monument (Monas), alongside President Joko Widodo.
