Prabowo Subianto, Indonesia’s Minister of Defense and President-Elect for 2024-2029, expressed his optimism about the progress of the Nusantara Capital project. He mentioned that the atmosphere in the capital is promising and believes that the development should be accelerated. Prabowo attended a Cabinet Meeting with President Joko Widodo in East Kalimantan and stated that, with collaboration with experts, the Nusantara Capital could be operational within 4-5 years. As the future President, Prabowo is committed to completing the project in line with President Jokowi’s vision. He emphasized the importance of mobilizing experts and resources to ensure the success of the Nusantara Capital.
