Jakarta — A student who is benefiting from the Free Nutritious Meals program has written a letter to President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka of Indonesia. This information was shared through an Instagram post on Gibran’s official account, @Gibran_rakabuming, on Wednesday (Oct. 23).
In the post, Hanif Mummtaz, a student from an elementary school, mentioned that the letter was written to express prayers for the two leaders.
“I wish for Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Gibran to always be healthy,” he said with a smile.
After saying his prayer, Hanif continued to enjoy his free nutritious meal. When asked about the food, he quickly replied, “It’s delicious,” as he continued eating.
In another post on Thursday (Oct. 24), Gibran visited SMP Negeri 270 Jakarta, another school benefitting from the program. The meal served included fried chicken, tempeh, stir-fried long beans, white rice, and fruit.
“Following President @Prabowo’s directive, providing nutritious meals from a young age is an important program for the nation’s future. It will enhance students’ focus and overall health,” Gibran wrote. (RR)
