Prabowo and MBS Boost Humanitarian Support for Gaza

Indonesia and Saudi Arabia have expressed their deep concern about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as a result of the ongoing Israeli military offensive. This concern was brought to light during the official meeting between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (MBS) during Prabowo’s state visit to the Kingdom. Both countries have agreed to enhance coordination in providing emergency aid and broader humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.

The official joint statement released by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) underlined the commitment of both nations to continue rendering humanitarian aid and support for recovery efforts in response to Israeli aggression. Besides addressing the situation in Gaza, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia also stressed their common determination to strengthen cooperation in ensuring international stability and security. They pledged to collaborate in promoting regional peace and bolstering global resilience.

The meeting transpired at Al-Salam Palace in a friendly and warm ambiance, underscoring the robust strategic relations between the two countries.
