Recently, President Prabowo Subianto received heartwarming letters from junior and senior high school students at Sekolah Rakyat in Cibinong, West Java. Taking time to personally read these letters in his office, the moment was captured and shared on the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat. The post showcased images of President Prabowo engrossed in the letters and a handwritten note from one of the students.
One of the students, Erni Andayani, poured her emotions into a sincere letter expressing gratitude to President Prabowo for establishing Sekolah Rakyat. She highlighted how the school has provided access to quality education, facilities, and meals, reigniting the aspirations of underprivileged students like her. Erni’s heartfelt letter expressed deep appreciation towards the President and the opportunities Sekolah Rakyat has brought to their lives.
Sekolah Rakyat, launched for the 2025–2026 academic year under the management of the Ministry of Social Affairs, aims to support children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. With 63 locations established across Indonesia, including Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara, the school has become a beacon of hope for students dreaming of a brighter future.
