The Free Health Check program in Schools (CKG) is set to cover a total of 53 million students nationwide in Indonesia. This initiative will encompass all types of educational institutions, including public, private, and religious schools under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Hariqo Wibawa Satria from the Presidential Communication Office highlighted the importance of this program, emphasizing that every student in Indonesia, regardless of school type, will benefit from free health checks. President Prabowo’s vision of a Golden Generation by 2045 drives the implementation of various strategic policies and priority programs, such as Free Nutritious Meals, Capacity Expansion of Public Hospitals, and Digital Learning Initiatives. The government has also taken steps to support child protection and establish special allowances for medical specialists in remote areas through regulations. Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar reaffirmed the inclusive nature of the CKG program, extending its services to all religious-based education units to support the vision of a healthy, intelligent, and globally competitive generation by 2045. The Ministry is actively urging schools to participate fully by providing necessary equipment, engaging teachers, and monitoring the program’s execution closely to ensure its success. Any schools failing to comply will face consequences as the government aims to make the CKG program a pivotal part of achieving the national vision for 2045.
