President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia joined the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) held at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, the event showcased various innovative research products. Padjadjaran University presented innovations like VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses at the “Flagship Research Products” booth. Prabowo, accompanied by his Kabinet Merah Putih (Red and White Cabinet) members, Governor of West Java, and other dignitaries, delivered an opening speech highlighting the importance of science and technology for economic growth and equity. KSTI 2025 aims to drive national economic transformation through research, science, and technological innovation in alignment with the government’s Golden Indonesia 2045 vision. The convention features exhibitions in priority sectors such as energy, defense, digitalization, downstream industry development, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing.
