Prabowo Subianto, the president-elect for the period of 2024-2029, urges voters, supporters, and volunteers of the Prabowo-Gibran campaign to prioritize the unity and unity of the Indonesian nation by refraining from engaging in mass actions in front of the Constitutional Court building (MK).
“I, Prabowo Subianto, earnestly request the Indonesian people, especially the 96.2 million citizens who have haved voted for the Prabowo-Gibran pair, not to take any action in front of the MK building or in other places in order to maintain the tranquility of democracy, uphold the unity and integrity of the nation,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo stated that he understands the accusations made by others, but he urges all his supporters to remain calm and peaceful.
“We understand that Prabowo-Gibran supporters are truly disturbed and have quite touching reactions, but we ask the supporters of the Prabowo-Gibran pair who have exercised their voting rights to always be cautious and careful and not to be provoked, especially by those who create an atmosphere that is not peaceful and tranquil,” said Prabowo.
By restraining themselves and not reacting, according to Prabowo, it does not mean a weak stance, but rather prioritizing the interests of the people and the nation to maintain the unity and unity of Indonesia.
“I reiterate, let us be calm, composed, restrain ourselves, allow institutions and judges of the Constitutional Court to carry out their noble duties with wisdom, always prioritizing the interests of the Indonesian people for the beloved Indonesian nation,” concluded Prabowo.
