Prabowo Subianto’s Goal: Implementing Free Nutritious Meals for Students Effectively and Efficiently to Prevent Corruption

Prabowo Subianto, who is set to become the President for the term 2024-2029, is focused on ensuring the effective implementation of the free nutritious meal program for school children without any leakage. In an exclusive interview with tvOne called “Prabowo Subianto Speaks for Indonesia,” Prabowo discussed how this goal will be achieved.

Prabowo confirmed that the budget for the nutritious meal program for students has been calculated and he is confident in its execution. He emphasized the importance of the scheme and system in place to ensure that the meals reach the children accurately, rather than focusing solely on the organization structure.

The President-elect stated his commitment to preventing any leaks in the program implementation during his administration. He highlighted the need to create an efficient and leak-free scheme to benefit the children.

In terms of distributing free milk to children across Indonesia, Prabowo noted that the approach would be tailored to the specific needs and resources of each region. For example, areas like Moa Island in Southwest Maluku, which have buffalo milk production, will have easier access to milk for the children.

In regions where obtaining milk sources is challenging, the focus will shift towards distributing other nutritious foods like fish and eggs. Prabowo emphasized the flexibility in distribution based on the regional typologies and conditions to ensure that all children receive proper nutrition.

Prabowo emphasized the importance of adapting plans to suit the diverse regions of Indonesia, including mountainous areas, coastal areas, and islands. The ultimate goal, as he pointed out, is to ensure that children receive nutritious food, irrespective of the unique characteristics of each region.
