Foreign Institutions Criticize Prabowo Subianto’s Programs, Analyst Suggests They Fear Indonesia’s Progress.

Political analyst Ujang Komarudin responded to recent scrutiny by foreign institutions towards the new administration’s programs under Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Ujang believes that these foreign entities are displeased with the idea of Indonesia progressing and becoming a more developed nation.

Institutions like Morgan Stanley have criticized Prabowo-Gibran’s programs, citing concerns over the weakening rupiah and potential fiscal burdens from campaign promises like free lunches and milk for students. Ujang mentioned that foreigners always seem to try to demean Indonesia by focusing on these new programs out of fear or paranoia.

Ujang argued that the free nutritious meal program, which has faced criticism from foreigners, could actually benefit the economic welfare of Indonesians, especially those in need. He also referenced Indonesia’s first President, Ir. Soekarno, who once advised to choose a leader who is hated, feared, and slandered by foreigners, as they are often the right choice.

Ujang emphasized that the foreign criticism and hatred towards Prabowo indicate that he is a true and strong leader who does not bow to outside influences. In his view, Prabowo’s leadership being scrutinized and disliked by foreigners is a sign of his authenticity and strength as a leader.
