Kalimantan — A heartwarming moment took place after Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto attended the final plenary cabinet meeting at Istana Garuda, Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) Nusantara, East Kalimantan, on Friday, September 13.
Prabowo found himself surrounded by a group of mothers who were excited to take selfies with him. Among them was Annisa Pohan, the wife of Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
As the group enjoyed their photo session, First Lady Iriana Jokowi unexpectedly joined them. Dressed in pink from head to toe, she swiftly positioned herself at the front of the group next to Prabowo.
Prabowo, in his white attire and black peci hat, looked slightly surprised by the First Lady’s presence and quickly showed his respect by bowing down.
“Where is Mr. (President Joko Widodo)? Mr. President, where is he?” Prabowo inquired, turning around to locate Jokowi.
During the cabinet meeting, President Jokowi stressed the importance of supporting the upcoming government’s transition to ensure its smooth and efficient operation.
“We must all fully support the incoming president’s agenda and guarantee a successful government transition,” stated Jokowi. (RR)
