The Free Health Check in Schools program (CKG Sekolah) was officially launched on Monday, August 4, 2025. The rollout of the program started in 12 schools simultaneously and received enthusiastic participation from students. Fritz Edward Siregar, Deputy for Information Coordination and Communication Evaluation at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), emphasized that CKG Sekolah is a crucial effort in developing Indonesia’s golden generation. This initiative is part of the broader Free Health Check (CKG) program initiated in February 2025.
President Prabowo Subianto’s Fast Results for the Best Outcomes program prioritizes initiatives like CKG Sekolah to ensure the well-being of students. The program aims to provide free health assessments for students in elementary, middle, and high schools across the country. At the launch event at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 8 in South Jakarta, Presidential Chief of Staff Lieutenant General (Ret.) Anto Mukti (AM) Putranto highlighted the importance of parental involvement in encouraging children to participate in the health checks.
During the event at MIN 8 South Jakarta, 617 students underwent health assessments conducted by medical personnel from local Community Health Centers (Puskesmas). Primary school students received screenings for various health indicators including nutritional status, blood pressure, dental check-ups, and mental health evaluations. These health screenings are part of President Prabowo Subianto’s efforts to prioritize preventive and promotive care in the national healthcare system.
The CKG program, launched on February 10, 2025, aims to benefit 60 million individuals by the end of 2025 and gradually expand to reach the entire Indonesian population. Services are provided through community health centers, integrated health posts, schools, BPJS clinics, offices, and local communities. Integration with digital platforms such as the SATUSEHAT Mobile app and the Ministry of Health’s official WhatsApp channel has enhanced accessibility to the program.
With over 15 million beneficiaries as of July 30, 2025, CKG has been successful in reaching a significant portion of the population. The program now targets elementary to high school students across thousands of schools and madrasahs in Indonesia. The expansion of CKG signals a positive shift towards proactive healthcare initiatives that will benefit the nation in the long term.
