Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo visited SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta in Rawamangun, East Jakarta to oversee the implementation of the Free Health Check in Schools (CKG Sekolah) program. This nationwide launch took place simultaneously in 12 educational institutions across Indonesia. The President’s care for the health of young Indonesians was highlighted by Minister Dito, linking the initiative to the vision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports within the Asta Cita development framework. The program aims to improve the overall physical fitness of the Indonesian population, with data collected from the CKG program informing policies to promote healthy lifestyles among students. The visit featured health screenings for tenth-grade students from SMKN 26 Jakarta, covering various health aspects such as measurements of height and weight, nutritional status, blood pressure, physical fitness, dental and eye health, as well as screenings for tuberculosis and mental well-being. The accompanying team included representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Presidential Communication Office, and notable athletes like Olympic gold medalist Veddriq Leonardo, Desak Made Rita Kusuma, and former national badminton player Bellaetrix Manuputty. The CKG Sekolah initiative is a core component of President Prabowo’s vision for a reformed national healthcare system, focusing on preventive and promotive care for the Indonesian population, with a special emphasis on students across all levels of education. With over 16 million people benefiting from the program as of August 1, 2025, the government is optimistic about the program’s potential to enhance equal access to healthcare services and contribute to the realization of the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
