Jakarta — Prabowo Subianto, Indonesia’s Minister of Defense and President-elect for the 2024-2029 term, had a meeting with President Joko Widodo to give a report on his week-long working visit to Europe.
Prabowo arrived at the State Palace on Friday, August 2, at 3:00 PM WIB, dressed in a brown safari suit, a black cap, and sunglasses. He greeted the media upon his arrival.
During the meeting, Prabowo explained that he visited Paris, Serbia, Turkey, and Russia to report on his recent working visit. He mentioned having a one-on-one meeting with President Macron and visiting several other countries after the Olympics opening.
Between July 24 to 31, 2024, Prabowo conducted meetings in four countries, meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Yes, Russia, Turkey, Serbia, and Albania. Yes, I’m just reporting,” Prabowo concluded.
